In this video from the Healthy Recipe Channel we will be making a Shrimp Stir Fry that is totally low carb and Keto friendly. It will contain Shrimp and vegetables as well as some nitrate-free Pork and Beef sausages.

We have two pounds of Jumbo Shrimp which we will be cooking with some chopped up vegetables. In this video the vegetables are two cups of Portabello Mushrooms, two cups of asparagus and half a red onion. You need to watch the red onions though because they are higher in carbs than the other vegetables.

We will be seasoning the Shrimp Stir Fry with Garlic and Pepper salt and a little bit of black pepper. Everything will be cooked in the Kerrygold Butter.

Starting with the vegetables first, put the stove heat on high and put two to three tablespoons of the Kerrygold Butter into a pan or wok. The Kerrygold is great cause you want high fat content in your Keto Diet. Since the shrimp has no fat in it, we make up for it by adding the butter while also making it taste good.

When the butter is melted add in all of the veggies and put the heat on medium high. Stir or toss the vegetables in the pan to cover it with the melted butter. Leave it to cook and move over to the next part, which is to cut up the sausages.

Use about three of the sausages in the Shrimp Stir Fry recipe, depending on their size. Cut them into quarter inch wheels and the quarter each wheel. Once all chopped up add the sausage to the wok. Stir or toss everything so that it mixes well in the pan.

Once you see the vegetables are starting to soften up and the mushrooms starts turning brownish, then it is time to add the Shrimp. You only want to cook the Shrimp for about five minutes to avoid them getting too chewy and shrunk. That is why they are added last. Once again toss them around to get them mixed in.

Time for some seasoning. Add in one or two teaspoons of the Garlic and Pepper salt and just one teaspoon of the black pepper. Give everything a couple of tosses again to get the ingredients mixed in.

When the shrimp is cooked, it is ready to serve. This recipe will make about eight servings.
